Raleigh Street Wall Restoration
Chapel Hill, NC
We coordinated the restoration of stone retaining walls flanking the east and west sides of Raleigh Street next to the home of the UNC University System’s President. The original walls, built in the 1920s, had deteriorated over time due to tree root pressure. After evaluations by a tree expert, surveyor, and engineer, the walls were reconstructed using current construction standards. The project was completed early and under budget.
